My name is Katlin Suzanne Johnston and I am an Artist  - hence the name Artistakat.  I design and create in a whole lot of different mediums from the ones that require years of learning the craft to the simple pleasures of quick crafts.

For example I enjoy the difficulty of working in Sterling Silver and Gemstones but I equally enjoy creating things with Paper.  I belong to Guilds for Stained Glass and Pottery.  Painting in Watercolours and occasionally Acrylics has been a lifelong vocation.  I am a Prize Winning Couture Level Designer and Seamstress and have made many One of a Kind Outfits and Wedding Gowns as well as Bridal Accessories.  I also Quilt and do anything possible with yarn.   Basically I just love creating pretty things. 

Over the years I have taught many of my skills in many venues and Teaching both Children and Adults is another one of my loves.  With the recent introductions and upgrades in Social Media Platforms I am looking forward into branching out into teaching through videos on my Youtube channel and on Facebook Live.  Hopefully this new challenge will be a journey that you will join me on and enjoy.
